The Australian Government's formal response to the House of Representatives inquiry report 'You win some, you lose more'. It notes the Committee's 31 recommendations and sets out the Government's 2 April 2026 reform package: restricting wagering advertising, boosting enforcement against illegal offshore gambling, strengthening BetStop (the National Self-Exclusion Register), addressing harmful online lottery products, doubling gambling financial counselling, increasing public awareness, and making match-fixing offences consistent nationally. The reforms are to commence from 1 January 2027.
