The principal Queensland Act governing licensed wagering and bookmaking (Act 15 of 1998). It provides for race wagering licences, sports wagering licences and oncourse wagering permits, the investigation and suitability of authority holders and their associates, the conduct of wagering, and harm-minimisation and integrity controls. Administered through the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation.
